Thessaloniki in paintings

The Society for Macedonian Studies holds an exhibition entitles “Thessaloniki in paintings” in the Art Gallery to celebrate the 80th anniversary from its foundation. This event is a part of the festivities organized to celebrate the 80 years of the S. F. M. S. and will host the artworks both of Greeks artists and artists from abroad with topics concerning landscapes, monuments and other important aspects of the capital of Macedonia.

To name just a few of the exceptional artists who will be represented in the exhibition: Alex Barkoff, Esprit- Marie Cousinery, Emile Gerlach, Spyros Vasileiou, Loukas Venetoulias, Babis Zapheiriadis, Takis Iatrou, Lykourgos Kogevinas, Kostas Loustas, Kostas Maleas, Kleio Natsi, Giwrgos Paralis, Nikos- Gabriel Pentzikis, Alekos Phasianos, Giwrgos Stathopoulos, Polykleitos Rengos, Vasilis Sperantzas, Petros Zoumpoulakis, Thalia Flora Karavia, Nikos Fotakis.
