Event Details

Emilios Chilakis, Athena Maximou, Yiorgos Saratsis in a night of expressive narration of excerpts from Menelaos Lountemis’ novella, ‘Ecstasy’. However, why have a “narration” and what messages does the specific work by the popular author communicate nowadays?

This event is open to the public, while priority will be given to members of KEAT (Centre for Education & Rehabilitation for the Blind) and the visually impaired. Sound takes to centre-stage and the narrator’s voice is what the audience/readers will remember most intensely, while the narration will be enriched with stimuli for the other senses, such as taste, touch and even smell.

The goal of the event, which is being held with the help of the School for the Blind and the Centre for Education & Rehabilitation for the Blind – Thessaloniki Branch, is for the listener/reader to take with them upon leaving a slow burning flame, to depart with intense and beautiful images.
