PIANO RECITAL HANDE DALKILIC

An established virtuoso pianist, whose expressive power in combination with her exceptional technique have brought her into contact with audiences that are ever-increasing in number.

Hande Dalkilic was born in Ankara and started taking piano lessons as a child. She devoted herself to music and started her academic education at 14, standing out due to her mature interpretation and broad repertoire. She has been actively recording since 2000, having recorded A. Adnan Saygun’s sonata Op. 76 as a global premier for BMP, while she has established her position on the art scene as a pianist who expresses the work of contemporary Turkish composers clearly and with excellent quality.

Her new album is titled ‘Tunes of the Upper Euphrates’ and includes nine folk compositions by Cetin Isikozlu, released under Kalan Music Label. Having held recitals and concerts throughout the world, Hande Dalkilic is visiting the 52nd Dimitria for an appearance that will delight fans of the classical repertoire.
