The rhythm section of Thessaloniki’s musical backbone is setting up its own party and everyone in down town Thessaloniki is invited. In an event especially planned for the 52nd Dimitria, Percautistic percussion group of Thessaloniki State Conservatory will wander the narrow alleys of Kapani Market, armed to the teeth with their audio arsenal, the youthful energy of its members and their noteworthy quest for creativity.

Using percussion instruments, body percussion, as well as a variety of other items, through spontaneous improvisation and with a fresh attitude, Percautistic will create an original musical event that will bring every audience member and explorer of the Thessaloniki city centre into contact with the city’s artistic ‘greenhouse’. Their path will be paved with a cheerful tempo. As will Kapani Market.
