What would happen if Lysistrata was living in Greece today, under the memorandum? What would her strategy be and where would she fight her battle? At the Athenian public treasury or perhaps at the European Central Bank? Where would she search for allies, in the Greek city-states or in the rest of the Mediterranean countries? And would the goal remain the same? To end the war? Yet, which war?

Giannis Paraskevopoulos ventures to open a dialogue with Aristophanes, relating contemporary aspects of Greek reality in 2014 with the Athenian society of 411 B.C. in a pocket-sized performance, which was first presented at the European Parliament in April 2014.
