Open rehearsals, lectures, a round table, concerts, three days of musical creation through the eyes of women today.
Six young composers from Greece and Romania and four musicians explore new soundscapes in open rehearsals. Open discussions and lectures highlight what the creators are searching for, shedding light on the special techniques used in instruments that are popular in the musical traditions of the region. The project will be completed with a concert reflecting the three days of collaboration.
The project is supported by Goethe Institute and funded by the Cultural Management Academy in Sofia, Bucharest and Thessaloniki. In collaboration with the Laboratory for Research in Contemporary Music, Composition, Performance and Improvisation of the Department of Music Science and Art of the University of Macedonia and the BeArtive Company
