An exciting combination of puppet theatre, performance art and opera, carried out with whatever is left following our unavoidable end due to the environmental destruction of the world. A post-apocalyptic puppet opera on the search for hope in the wake of environmental annihilation. A fantasy that invites the audience to a dystopic future, where civilization and humanity have succumbed to their own greed. Through what processes will the new authority arise? ‘STØV/DUST’, with its masterful puppets, designed after many years of research, with realistic skin and faces, and with the musical performance of soprano Nina Sveistrup Clausen in the starring role of the story, was created with the belief that art can play an active role in cultivating critical thought in audiences and a change in practices on the planet.
