CONCERT FontanaMIXensemble

Scholarly music, modern questions. The Italian group from Bologna, that has been active since 2002 and has worked with the most important names in contemporary music, covers an imaginative, broad performance spectrum. During their long career, FontanaMIXensemble have performed pieces by Bach ‘embellished’ with electronic elements, they have organised concerts, seminars and meetings dedicated to contemporary creation, and they invite composers and guest soloists to their events. At the Dimitria they will present a programme of Italian post-war composers, such as Salvatore Sciarrino, Paolo Aralla, Franco Donatoni, Fausto Romitelli, and others, while they will cover a period from 1947 to 21st century.
